Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

Simon,

I am telling you as a collector and someone who has been victimized by trusting the wrong people, these drawings are without a doubt fake!  Wascher and Lizzie are among people who really care and passionate about others in the collecting world and have spent their time to make you understand that these are not real by any means.  If you TRULY VALUE your customers through your good 'customer service', then do the right and conscious thing...take them down.

Prashant we aren't gonna listen to Lizzie when she just lists everything that is signed by Michael Jackson all the time on here. It was the items in Alan Partridge's auctions in Liverpool the other month, then these were followed to eBay.

You'll all again be watching out for Julien's MJ auctions next May. Remember you heard it here first.

Let's forget about the other auction houses for a minute.  Just look at all the items YOU ARE NOW offering.  Don't you see a pattern with many of the autographs.  There are 3 DISTINCE autograph patterns.  I can guarantee you that almost 99% of us would say none of these are authentic...the 3 different yet distinct autograph patterns come from 3 different people.  It's so obvious.  How come you cannot see it through the eyes of Lizzie or Wascher or myself?

Why even argue with this guy? They make money by selling it. Doesn't matter to them if they get it by ripping people off. Nothing going to change their mind about it.

The drawing didn't come from someone in Ireland. I know who you are referring to, it's the person on eBay that constantly puts lots of extra items in the title so he gets lots of views. The drawing has been online before around 2001, so the woman who has a different picture copied it.

The pillow on four rooms came from a person in the UK with an English accent and his name is given at the beginning of the show. Why doesn't someone upload the programme. Channel 4 Britain: 4 rooms 2nd September. But the pillow seller isn't Irish.

^^  I take it that you are referring to the drawing of Michael and Mickey hand in hand 'Going Home'.   It seems that you have missed the meaning of the original drawing.  It certainly would not have been drawn this way before June 09.

The term "Home Going","Homegoing Service" Homegoing Celebration, or Homegoing Ceremony is a Christian funeral or memorial  in which friends and family celebrate the deceased "going home" to heaven or glory, to be with the Lord.  This term is frequently used by the African American religious and church community.  The homegoing service is based on death being a time of rejoicing because the person is going on to heaven.

Thanks Lizzie for re-explaining this. http://live.autographmagazine.com/xn/detail/3524372:Comment:819482

I ried to make that same point, that she called it Going Back Home - AFTER she came home from the Memorial, after he DIED..... I even repeated, it tells a story and is beautifully illustrated... nope.  This guy doesn't get it (duh).

This guy has no shame and will screw someone over while smiling right at them.  THIS IS A FACT.

Don't waste your breath.

Carry on though with reporting EVERY. SINGLE. THING. that is crap out there.  He can get emails on every single one now that he's commented on this post and is having to follow it.

Chad no one has been duped. Not one of the 8 auction houses that have listed these. It is always buyers aware when buying at auction, and if the best experts in the field have said they are real, then people who aren't important don't count. Just like me or Simon or anyone else, the auction houses aren't the experts, the people who authenticate are.

Look at the RR case with Michael Johnson who bought the Led Zep album that came with a Epperson/PSA,DNA coa and then Michael Johnson doesn't inform PSA/DNA he has a coa but asks for their opinion and they say it's not legit.

That gives us no respect for anyone who issues coa's. But keep on buying pieces of papers or signed albums, instead of actually changing poor people's lifes and giving them money.

Hey I look great with my framed lp or framed signature on a wall, and I don't care about the people who struggle every day with no money. It is pathetic.

Regarding the crown drawing. This 100% doesn't prove this is the one in this collage. However if we come across any in this picture we won't list them.

David Im on lunch at the moment. I will be back on the computer tonight after dinner because Im an autograph collector (something you disdain but make money from). I like this website and like to read and give my personal opinion to help if I can. Its a tricky business as you well know and I hate the thought of some poor novice or less knowledgeable collector being robbed. If I was a middle man like you helping sell autographs I would feel terrible if somebody bought something bad through me. Well Ive got to get back to the Borough of Doylestown where I WORK!

So Memorabilia Vault sent that photograph to Frost and Epperson of a fake Corey to prove the items were legit (which they actually lied about), and you have the crown with Epperson's COA but its not the same one.  Andddddd Jason's girlfriend confirms all of this.

In your own words.... "do you know how stupid that sounds?"

But Wascher. People pay for experts opinions of Epperson or Frost or anyone else. They never ever should just take someone's story (Here's a picture of Corey  Feldman), so they must be real. That is the dumbest thing about it. Look I've seen 5, now 10, now 100, now 150, now 200+ yeah still must be real!!!!  Just cause Jason who ever he is ex girlfriend says she watched him sign things doesn't mean she is telling the truth.

Most of the drawings not only come with Epperson coa's but Frost and PSA/DNA, so as we keep pointing out, is everyone wrong but the people on live autograph magazine.

AT THE END OF THE DAY IT IS SOMEONE'S OPINION. NO ONE CAN PROVE ANYTHING.

It's like looking at a video of Paul McCartney signing a Sgt Pepper's lp, how can one be so sure that the person that received it didn't keep the original and make a new one to sell. Or when people photoshop pictures and put a guitar in somone's hand that he isn't even signing.

Or the topic that doesn't get that many comments is the one where someone on here claims he knows people who can lift genuine individual Beatles autographs and put them all together on one album.
