I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.
Here are some current examples:

LOL, yes anyone can make a dot-it's what you do with it. Maybe he needs a ruler as well? or just forget about the lines and shade. but then he would have to know wether to go foreground dark to light or light to dark. They just get themselves in a little to deep.
That 7 I don't like, the above little house looks ok, again it seems the sketcher of both is not the same person.
The autographs I am not sure, the one washer claims has not been seen before looks ok to me. Washer can you tell us where to find that one? I am curious.
Is that a 7 or a Grammy award?
Hello John!
The price was very good- around 75.00. Why did I sell it?
I hope nobody gets upset with my next comment, my intention is only to express my opinion.
You have been talking so much as to how great Michael Jackson's art is and frankly it is NOT.
His drawings and sketches are way below an amateur artist, I will rank it from 1 to 10 a 2+.
Honestly people he was average, probably your adoration towards him blind you but he is in my opinion just an average artist when it comes to the painting arts, but HE WAS, IS AND WILL BE THE UNDISPUTED KING OF POP, HE WAS A GENIUS AND THAT'S UNQUESTIONABLE.
Thanks
I'm sorry, the Scream artwork was done by an artist by the name of Gottfried Helnwein. Here is information on that one piece from Gottfrieds site showing it used in the History Era artwork. http://www.helnwein.com/news/news_update/article_524-Helnwein-art-w... My mistake but the only one I believe I had grabbed accidentally. My fault for rushing around and answering things here yesterday before I headed out the door.
I loaded a folder here on the forum months and months ago with MJ's art: http://live.autographmagazine.com/photo/albums/michael-jackson-auth... (these start out as childhood drawings and move towards the hangar art). I don't have all his artwork---obviously as there is a lot. But I would not call any of his art amateur (except when he was a young child). The Hangar art towards the end of the folder is quiet impressive.
Lizzy, do you know did Brett ever produce a public catalog/with photos of the artwork that was in the Hangar, beside what we saw in the news articles?

No problem! I think it's a good study to help authenticate through the art as well as the signature. Hopefully people will not spend alot of their hard earned dollars buying sketchy sketches.
The forgers have alot to worry about now that the wascher & Lizzie mj justice machine have come to town.
Bravo!
That I agree, forgers and scammers now they have to think twice before trying to do their thing.
Thanks washer you should open your authentication company.
Sadly Michael was just another average artist when it comes to painting, he was gifted as a musician not as a sketcher, but again that's my opinion and it does not carry the complete truth.
And who is Bret? what hangar?
