Hello everyone, I just found this album on ebay. What do you think? http://m.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jackson-Thriller-album-Autographed-/2...

Not for me personally. Swing it by Roger Epperson before you buy.

I personally 50/50 on this one. It can be real or good forgery.

I agree with Dan, should ask Roger and Wascher before placing bid on it.

It's not your everyday MJ, but it has a lot of what I look for in a Michael Jackson autograph. I'm confident that it's genuine, but definitely get a quick opinion from Epperson on it.

If Roger agrees on authenticity, you'll have a hard time finding a better signed Thriller album. Ask for close up pics of the edges, especially the lower right corner to make sure it's not damaged.

I added the images to your post so we have them when the listing is not longer on eBay.

I agree with Steve. I think this is authentic.
Me also. My punt it's authentic.

I have 2 points to concern:

1) I always look on Ebay for MJ autograph this year but seldom find MJ's 80 style autograph. However, there are 3 similar MJ's 80 autographs coming up altogether (including this Thriller album) during this week. You can see pictures below:

2)  These 3 autographs are coming from 3 different sellers, all have few feedbacks and no LOA.

Kit, your watching what I've been watching also.  There seems to be an increase in 80's style autographs all by new sellers or low feedback sellers.  I liked them all initially (and was excited to see some nice ones) until I saw the increase in them -- more and more --which is rare (Steve you might remember earlier this year I sent you a bunch of them and asked you what you thought of some of them).  I'm not sure that they are bad (at this point) but I have concern that there is such an increase so I'm really really looking at them....  The one actually listed in this discussion I saw a few days ago and I like it, and I don't.  I'm just not comfortable at this time to say its good.  Lets just say I get a weird feeling about all of the new ones surfacing.

Me too, Wascher. At first, I think that it is real but the autographs coming more and more. I also feel all of them look like signing yesterday. Did it really sign in 80'?

I don't remember, Wascher, can you post them? I don't care for the new ones you posted, Kit, but I see a few characteristics in the red one that are similar to the one I like at the head of this discussion.

If there has been an increase in the amount of 80s Michael Jackson autographs out there, then we really have to study these. What about posting a new discussion to study them?
Good idea, Steve. Thanks for your site that help saving a lot of people from a fraud.
