5 DIFFERENT MICKEY MANTLE STYLE SIGNATURES AUTHENTICATED BY G.A.I.....3 AUTHENTICATED BY MIKE BAKER

All of these autographs were authenticated by G.A.I which raises the question....how the hell could one company authenticate 5 different style Mickey Mantle signatures ?!?!?!?!...Mike Baker authenticated 2 of these items which the one on top is actually authentic in my opinion....he actually authenticated that one...

The second Mantle I am really not quite sure about...is that a bad authentic Mantle or better then usual forgery ?...that middle Mantle really has me scratching my head...also authenticated by G.A.I. I don't like it...good or bad...its off to me

The third Mantle we all know about....garbage all day all the way...also authenticated by G.A.I. I do admit that I have seen some authentic Mantles popping up lately....were there coming from is beyond me since the great Mickey Mantle has been deceased since 1995...16 YEARS...

The fourth Mantle is really the closest I have seen in a long time...this will by far be the style that really ruins a extremely tainted hobbie already !!!! Iam guessing the guy that did the second Mantle also did the forth one also authenticated by Mike Baker !!!!!

The fifth one has my baffled...WTF is going on here !?!?!?!?!

JUST LIKE MY MAN CLINT EASTWOOD....I REFER THESE AUTOS AS THE GOOD...THE BAD...AND THE UGLY...and now THE REAL UGLY

Feel free to post any G.A.I Mantles good and bad...let me know what you guys think...

Which category does this Mickey Mantle fall into?

Mike Baker for $285.05 best offer? This guy had some kind of racket going. If he can fool Judge Judy, what hope is there for the average autograph collector? And what more can be done to make sure his name and his certs are synonymous with forgeries?

whats up brick...yeah I saw that one some time ago and that one is actually authentic...I have now seen 4 authentic Mantles from GAI and about 200 forgeries...YIKES !!!!!!
another good one....a true needle in the forgery hay stack
I know next to nothing about Mantle authentic but I think seeing 200 Mike Baker Mantle's is probably a conservative estimate. I've seen more perusing eBay. These can far outnumber a lot of other questionable forgeries I see.

The bottom one is definately fake.

The top one looks like it might be real, but I'd need to see it a a bit larger and brighter. There is one thing I don't like about it, but it's not so bad it may not still be real. If this is a fake, it's pretty scary.

The middle one is a question mark. There are things I like about it, and a few things I don't. Again, if this is a fake, it's scary because it has some convincing qualities.

@zipper...without giving out info to any forgers out there if your thinking what iam thinking about the first auto I think even with those flaws its good...if its not.....then Mantle collectors are going to be losing lots and lots of money...if its indeed bad...that would be by far the best forgery I have ever seen...but I feel pretty confident that its legit...I Will try to get a bigger and brighter version...now that second version I have to say it completely got me baffled...there is no doubt that there are characteristics that are whats none of genuine pieces...but there is so much about it I don't like...it kind of reminded me of the "blocky" one you posted some time ago...except for the one thing this version lacks compared to the image you posted...I think you know what iam talking about...The last one is no doubt no question garbage...but it all comes back to how can one company authenticate ALL 3 ?....too sick...Mantle fans can't win like that...

From what I've seen around here, I think you're right that the lower one is likely bad, Zippy. My money's on the top one being good.

BTW, when you enlarge the bottom one, the end of the M of Mickey seamlessly starts the 'i'. I haven't seen that before, but everything I've learned about Mantle's autograph has been on this site. Has anyone seen that before on a genuine Mantle?

Hey Steve...the 2 authentic Mantle's I posted that are authentic authenticated by GAI has the conjoining MI in the Mickey portions...I also agree that the first Mantle is authentic...iam no expert but I do like it

BTW, when you enlarge the bottom one, the end of the M of Mickey seamlessly starts the 'i'. I haven't seen that before, but everything I've learned about Mantle's autograph has been on this site. Has anyone seen that before on a genuine Mantle?

The M connects to the I in the bottom signed book. Not sure about this.
