This glove has the PSA/DNA hologram and matching card which is why I bought it, but the sticker seems like it has been taken off and put back on. I have no idea how the stickers react to the gloves so it could be fine, but I just want some opinions on how easily/difficult it is to make these fake holograms and cards from PSA/DNA and if the autograph is the real deal. I'm extremely paranoid and would like some peace of mind. Thank you !

The first thing I did before I even bought it was check the PSA/DNA site, it all seems fine but the loose hologram just made me paranoid when I got it today. It could've been stored in hot conditions or something as well. Thanks Harry !

I totally agree with you on having pics on their site, it would be a tremendous help ! Dan Marino, oh how I miss him !!

I don't really care about who authenticated it all I really care about is the autograph. And I personally don't like this particular autograph, it just looks funky.

Lol  Harry, I don't know if you're familiar with Palm Beach Autographs but they're having a private signing with Mike Tyson in the next few days and you can pre order his autograph if you're interested. I was going to do that myself before finding this one, I still may.

Harry, I would call them to see if it's just a glitch on their site. They're very cool guys and I've ordered quite a few things from them. Normally you can pre order things up to a few days before the signings so that's odd. Won't hurt to call and ask them !

Harry, Schwartz Sports Memorabilia will be at a Tyson signing event this weekend. You can call them and pre order what you want provided they have it in stock.

Rhonda,

I agree with Harry--an image should be taken and put online of every autograph. I agree, this looks like the sticker was removed and placed on your glove. I'd return it--can you?

Regarding the autograph itself, I don't know Tyson but I looked at PSA/DNAs for few minutes and the gloves I saw looked different--faster, tighter, different slant, etc. That was only a cursory glance at what was out there but enough to really concern me, particularly combined with the sticker problem. Can you return it? If so, I'd do that.

I contacted the seller yesterday and this is the response I got a few minutes ago...

"Hi there, I'm really sorry about this inconvenience, I can't tell you exactly what's happened with it cause I bought the glove on ebay about a year ago and the hologram was also loose. But I know that you still can get an other one probably for free or maybe with a little charge if you contact the certification company. Let me know if you got problem getting a new one if you want to and I will try to do my best to resolve the problem. Thank you"

Steve, I'm not sure what to do, can I contact PSA/DNA and have them "re cert" the glove with no cost since the sticker came off and because of the circumstances ?

Did he tell you it was loose when you bought it? If he didn't, it wasn't properly described, which is warning sign, so I'd file a claim with PayPal and tell the seller you want to return it.

I don't know how PSA/DNA handles sticker issues, but there likely is a charge...call and ask. If they truly did authenticate it, there will be a mark on the glove visible under a certain laser light. They'll probably verify authenticity besides but they'll check for that first.

This seller is feeding you a warm bowl of bullcrap soup. This seller knows exactly what they did. "The sticker was loose when I bought it, but of course I forgot to mention that when I was selling it". BAD, BAD, BAD.
