We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Thanks Steven.

I see he did an in store signing on oct 24 in new York so they may have worked something out to get signed copies from that on ebay they are all black sharpie but did see a few signed on the other side similar to these

Mine arrived today.  He autographed it with a black Sharpie across his chest on the back of the CD booklet.  It is very nice.  I will post an image of it when I get a chance.

Happy yours arrived safe and sound Mike : )

Here is a scan of mine signed in the same place

Very nice Greg.  Yours is very similar to mine, and it is also very similar to the additional one that I purchased for my father.  All three pieces must have originated from the same source.

They are sold out now through Looney Tunes
Oddly enough, I ordered on the day they went on sale and was out of the country at the time (good thing for paypal!), I just got back and it only shipped about 2 days ago and should arrive tomorrow. Very weird way of completing orders... ordered first, shipped last.. I'll let you guys know if I get a black or gold signed one. On another note, I really like this thread and hope that everyone continues to post deals they find on here. I monitor a few sites daily (I know a bit lame) but will post as I find stuff.

I agree Christopher.  This is a very valuable discussion.

Here is my Neil Diamond autographed Melody Road CD booklet.

My second CD arrived a couple of days ago, this one was signed in gold.

Both of mine arrived two days ago and were both signed in black.  In regards to the signatures appearing different, if you look through the booklet itself, there are several pictures of hand written lyrics and other things that he signed - those weren't exactly alike either so I wouldn't worry much about some of the autographs looking different especially for someone that is sitting down to sign hundreds of booklets at a time.
