The difference in asking price can be attributed to the fact that one is not personalized, and the other two are personalized.

Neil Armstrong tended to personalize the vast majority of autograph requests. So unpersonalized examples are much less common and tend to go for a significantly higher price.

It’s not clear to me what the actual sales price on these items were… It looks like best offers may have been accepted. In any case, these are all examples with some fading and are less than prime examples.

Apart from other things visible here, I believe I remember Steve saying that authentic Armstrong signatures never touch or go over the flag of the United States.

Placement is just one of the multitude of issues with this signed photo.

Sometimes you’ll get an authentic Armstrong autograph that brushes the flag slightly, but he did not  write over the flag to any significant degree.
