With the New York Comic Con just over the horizon I thought that it would be an opportune time to discuss anything and everything related to it.  I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has purchased in-person autographs from any of the scheduled guests in the recent past.  Although I will not be attending this year other collectors who plan on attending may need to determine how much money to bring and any help would be great.  Thanks in advance for any information that you are able to provide.

Can you please link to where this can be seen? I can't find it.

Neither can I.  Rob, where exactly do you see pricing?

The prices are there!  Click on WHO'S COMING.  Then click under Autographs (far right).  Then you can click on the full schedule or the daily schedule.  Last, click on your entertainers of choice and check out what they charge.

look at the daily schedule links... then click an attendee;

burt ward is charging $50.00

Thanks Janine and DB.  It looks like some autographs will only be available with an autograph ticket that will be limited and distributed one per person two hours prior to the doors opening.  Is anyone familiar with this system?  It appears to be Comic Con's equivalent of a Disney FASTPASS.

One cool thing is that Metallicas Kirk Hammett will be there on Saturday and sign autographs for free!!!

Only one per person, but still a very nice suprice.

Whenever I've met Johns and Jim Lee, I didn't have to pay anything to get something signed. I even got Jim to do a free GL sketch one year. Things may have changed though.

Thanks Brandon.  That's good news.  I don't think that things have changed for artists and writers.  It's probably more of a promotional opportunity for them.  Many times I have seen collectors approach them with stacks of comics but I was never sure if they had to pay for the signatures.  Lucky you getting Jim to sketch an original Green Lantern piece.

Exactly, they figure that you have already paid for their services when you buy the comics or graphic novels.

Tickets finally arrived today.

One more week!

So saturday and sunday are sold out completely. Now I am fighting the urge to sell my Sunday tickets for the 150-180 a piece they are getting on ebay lol
