even worse than the other one. thumbs down.
Doesn't look good to me.  David's signature seems all wrong.  And having the "Peace Symbol" with Kurt's signature raises a red flag for me.   Kris doesn't look right at all.   I would have to say thumbs down.
On the other Nirvana discussions people have posted examples of authentic Nirvana autographs.
Even those examples look different from each other. Chris/Krist, Kurt/Kurdt etc...
How can you tell which is authentic? I personally am looking for authentic ones.

Nirvana can be some of the toughest signatures to authenticate.   Their signatures styles seemed to change on a dime, and especially considering their mood when they signed,  their autographs could differ quite a bit.   Without solid provenance,  it could be impossible to know for sure.   Maybe some of the more educated guys can pinpoint em,  but I have a hard time.

Having said all that,  I still think the above signatures are bogus.   I have seen enough variations in their signatures to know that the above autos just aren't gellin.

Mr. Lapointe,

have you owned a business called "Tiger Lapointe Autograph Authentication"?

No, never in my life have I authenticated an autograph.  I do collect though but mostly hockey and golf.

Ok, thanks for your reply.

I was just wondering if this is (or used to be) your website: http://tlaa.bravehost.com/

Wow!  Looks like the idiot is at it again.   Back in 2006,  I turned in a forger (I won't name him here) who was selling alot of forgeries of Sidney Crosby and other hockey stars.  This guy lived about 2 hours from my town.  He even showed up at my door threatening me.  Anyhow,  the police were called and an investigation started.    He was logging on different website using my personal info, name address etc.... before you know it,  there was people calling my home for various reasons that didn't apply to me.     But most of all,  he was doing shady business under my name with other people.    The guy even applied for credit cards in my name.

When the police had enough information on him,  they charged him with fraud not only for selling the bogus stuff but also for using my name on various occasions.   This guy served 6 months in prison and was released after serving only 4 months.    From what I know, he doesn't sell any signed stuff anymore but if this is his work,  I will have to get another investigation going.

Thanks for showing me that.

If he did all that to you, and was convicted, it is public record and you should say who he is as he earned the bad pr

pet

How many "Tiger Lapointe" are running around this earth much less into autographs?  Is that website the same man pretending to be you?  I'm lost.
This drum head is just bad. But it gave me a good laugh.
