I edited the discussion to remove the language you used. Please keep it a little less crass. Thanks!

Also it was John Brennan I believe, so it was going to get a little higher based on that factor.

it wasn't brenan who I know and no mention of him .the person who sold them said he got them to sign inperson  but he was just a fan

and 9k yes but that's retail so pawnstars always offers around 50%

It was John Brennan.

that was not john on the tv show

Dam he lost alot of wieght

$9K for the signed In Utero LP is about right !!!!!! :)

that's retail not what pawn stars buys thenm in to resell they offer around 50% of the estimate

and how is 15 k and 25k the correct retial prices,

Their margins depend on the size of the item and the size of the market.  The margins are inversely correlated to the size of the market (if it sits for awhile, he is going to need a higher margin) and positively correlated to shelf space.  That being said, Rick offered $9k for an item with a huge market and very little shelf space.  He should be able to get $12k for a 33% markup.

First he pays commission on the sale.  Second  the estimates were crap as they low ball everything. He should have paid no more than 4 to 5k  .he has to resell. I know how show backwards and forwqard.somethibg was screwy and set up especially since Steve wont authenticate nirvana unless he knows u or theres rock solid providence.  There was non

First, do you actually believe that there is no research done prior to filming???  Second, I know he would accept a much lower margin for an item that he could flip quickly.  He could have a buyer already lined up.
