Hi Everyone,

I appreciate how prompt you all have been in getting back to me regarding my authentication questions. I've asked previously about Trout autographs, and am often 50/50 in terms of my own opinion on most of his memorabilia. So if you might have some thoughts on this particular item, I would love to here from you. I've certainly seen a lot worse forgeries than this one if it is indeed not authentic but carrying a COA from INPERSONAUTHENTICS can't be helping its case for legitimacy.

Would appreciate opinions on whether this Mike Trout signature is authentic?  It comes with authentication but I'll hold back on which one before getting some opinions.  Thanks in advance.

If I guess the authenticator would you tell me if I’m right? My guess is BAS authenticated this.

Thanks for the reply.  PSADNA authenticated (Joe Orlando) and graded signature a 9 according to the documentation.

This ball is similar to the PSA authenticated ball but was authenticated by both JSA and BAS.  Agree that neither looks similar to the signed ball you posted.  Has his signature changed much over the years?

This one looks good. Trout signature has changed a bit. The PSA one above I still wouldn’t buy. Don’t think it’s good.

The grade just has to do with the ink placement and such. Bad signatures they authenticate get graded too.

I don’t think either of those Trout signatures above are authentic. Wouldn’t matter to me who authenticated them. Here are two examples of authentic Trout signatures. I’ll dig out a couple more and get them posted for comparison.

These are the ones I previously posted. Redoing them so they show in the thread. These are 100% authentic.

These were authenticated by one of the Authenticators you mention. What do you think of them?

Here are a couple more showing another version of his signature. The magazine I got signed and the license plate my brother did and I saw video of it being signed. These are authentic.

Here are two examples of in person rushed signatures. I would normally say no to them if shown these. I saw them signed but when they look like this I’d rather error one the side of caution. Plus who would want a Trout that looks like this?
