Is this actually hand signed by these astronauts?

Yes

Sorry - Autopens/facsimiles all. Armstrong is Pattern 3 - Steve will know much more of course.

Another example same date different recipient.

A quick overlay of the Armstrong:

Hello again, your letter may well have some sort of value as what it is (a form/printed letter bearing facsimiles) - esp with the patches, but it is one of many. Steve Zarrelli will have seen this before and can advise.

Thank You!

You are very welcome. Wish it was better news.

It's not bad news.......good to know

thank You for the information..........very educational

It's a form letter from '65, which, based on the wording, seems to be some sort of early MFA "thank you" note.

In other words, without even checking the signatures, the answer is "no".

Astronaut hand signed items may have been easier to get back then, since Apollo hadn't kicked up the worldwide publicity storm, but they didn't sign items like this. There were wayyyyyyyyyy too many of them.

Value as is, I'd say, probably tops out around $50, depending on what you're referring to when you mention patches. The letter alone, of course, less than that.
