A friend brought me this guitar signed by Ozzy Osbourne, He is trying to sell it, but the signature looks way off to me. I've never seen an Ozzy signature that looked like that. He also has a "certificate of authenticity" but I've never heard of that company before and the address took me to a UPS store. I also noticed that the numbers on the "appraisal" sheet look altered. No way that guitar is worth $12,550! Any thoughts?

You answered your own question: it’s a fake.  A bad fake at that.  If the signature can be removed, it’s worth whatever the secondhand value of that particular guitar model is.

As an aside, I can’t remember a time when a story that started with, “My friend/brother gave me this,” ended with a positive autograph authentication.  It’s usually a massive red flag.
