Who knows? This piece has become too time consuming for me though. I was simply going to get it for an investment for the future and perhaps consign my Beatles x3 to auction
You're in the US. Why wouldn't you have gotten a COA or LOA? It could sell for twice as much or more with one by a reputable TPA like Epperson, PSA, BAS, JSA or ACOA.
Again, I have spent much more time on this than I would have liked too. I can see it has sparked a debate. Thanks everybody for their help on this one!
Thanks, Robby.
The construction of the "Pau" falls right in line with the Tracks example, not the OP. The form and lean of the "u" is interesting. Let's see what Ballroom says.
nice example
That’s a good comparison. I think both are from Paul and Linda. Paul took more care with the one in the OP.
Steve - what was the first sign that made you conclude the blue one might be a forgery?
I see some differences between the blue Linda and black Linda, but both Pauls look pretty good (the black one looks better though)
Good comparison. I was focused on the Paul and I felt the right leaning slant on the one in the op was off which is why I questioned it.
looking at this comparison lessens my concerns.
I think that both Pauls look like his handwriting and both Lindas look like hers, but I don't think that Paul actually signed his blue one, and I'm not convinced that Linda actually signed hers. The blue Paul at least looks like some sort of tech-assisted reproduction.
