glad you got the thumbs up from Roger, Joe.
Agree, and agree it is preference. I'd be looking for a b/w photo by a photographer and have that signed as well - just did this with Bowie. Had it signed to me and dated 1/16. Heroes from 1978 @ Newcastle 6/15. Heavyweight, pear finish. ;)

That's a great suggestion Adam. May leave this one the way it's done. But, if I'm fortunate to find another Paul I will create a mat with a circa photo to match the signature. Nice tip!!
Very nice! Wise to stick with a b/w photo which wont "steal the show" from the signature. Remember, one can (when having images printed anyway) have the contrast bumped a touch or the white balance matched to increase the appearance/apparent strength of the sig, and of course all these things can be mitigated with framing/matte choices. This looks great - I might have gone cream and black - but this look wonderful. Glossy black anodized aluminum frame? Wood will outgas. I like that it is not symmetrical too! This does not appear "weak" to me - just very nice. Well done Joe!

Thanks Eric. I just happen to like this particular photo. I did purchase from the original photographer and should have had him sign it. Does have his copyright and sticker on the back of the photo. I try to mat to allow the signature to be the star of the show. Keep things simple. I mat by hand. Perfect not allowed!
Thanks. I am relieved. I guess for those who know McCartney better than I, this may not be the perfect exemplar but it authentic. That counts!!
Happy you are pleased :)
Enjoy it.
Eric
