People here were more than patient with him.
A lot of people just come here for free authentications, but he took that to an extreme.
I for one won't miss his daily requests for free "quick opinions" on junk he turned up in his search for bargain Beatles autographs.

Honestly, I think everyone was very courteous and polite with him. Genuinely trying to help him out. I have posted asking for help with items before, and it is always much appreciated when anyone responds. We are very lucky to have the expertise we do here!

Just to add, if I (or I hope others) make an intervention here to call out a fake, it is with a view to potentially stopping an unwary buyer from throwing their money away. Second point, I have seen over the last few years a few fake listings that have counterfeit letters of authenticity from Frank Caiazzo, Tracks or Roger Epperson, to name a few.

This site has seen people like "Mark Atkinson" before. A few times they've been forgers posting fakes to see what they can away with. Other times they "test" the members with stuff they know is either real or fake. Or maybe he was indeed looking for bargain Beatles on dubious web sites. Either way, it was a waste of many members time.
