Apparently, PSA/DNA authenticated this Sir Paul signed postcard. But was this really signed by Paul McCartney? I have my doubts. What do you think?

Here's a link, and there are pics below:

How can they authenticate that.
The way i feel about the hobby and these authenticators holding the powers to be, is that im finished with collecting.
Agreed. Why I don't understand why people need PSA when there are so many wishy washy signatures authenticated and all the stories you hear of in person graphs being rejected. There has to be a better solution.
Unfortunately, you need them if and when you want to sell an item, because without their LOA, it can be much harder to sell an item. It's just really too bad that so many "wannabe" collectors put so much trust in them. When I go to buy an item, I will consider PSA's opinion, but I certainly don't need their okay to decide to buy an item. If someone is selling an item without a TPA LOA, I'm okay with that too. I can make up my own mind. My MJ Thriller LP had no PSA with it, but I'm probably more sure of it than anything in my collection.

What about this Dave Grohl signed pic??? :)

Oh boy.
I don't know his sig, but this looks like one of those how-do-you-authenticate-that kind of autographs, almost in the squiggly-line category.
The Dave photo do a lot of business with psa also. I only seen one or two things without a sticker.

I can't comment either way....because I don't know so I won't offer any opinon

But I will say that if you click on that Ebay link and look at the sellers "other items for sale"...you will see more than one thousand pieces up for sale. The vast majority what one might term "really big names"  including several Beatle pieces and Jimi Hendrix too.

Might be worth a look at the other things this guy is selling.

At least that would give you an idea if he is an honest broker or a con man.

He is an ebay power seller and I won't say he is or isn't dishonest, but it does seem some ebay sellers get just about anything passed by PSA because they do such a large quanity of business with them thay they may get a better benifit of the doubt over someone like you and me.
Ive been saying all this time that this is the same guys as Iconic auctions, which is somewhat connected to Press Pass collectibles. Recent auction offerings from Iconic were also being sold by the same seller(autographs.for.sale) at the same time.
Press pass items that don't get sold on eBay are also consigned to iconic.
They also get cut rates, $25 or so.
