I just want to bring attention to this and see what everyone's thoughts are. I came across 7 listing for Eltons Lockdown art card signed at auction, ending today. No cd included, just the art card. If you zoom in on the signature, they look really off to me. Barcodes can be faked easily, I won't mention how on a public forum. Its just a matter of finding the right photo quality cardstock to print on and basic photos photoshop skills. Please take a look at this sellers store.

(Sellers eBay ID at the time I created this post was nassa_cathe and has since been changed to nas_cat they are based in Los Angeles,  CA Please help me report this guy to eBay as well as the FBI here : https://www.fbi.gov/ )

Also, search their sold items. This seller just sold a few Avril Lavigne art cards the same way, no cd included. Avril did sign a lot of these in a sloppy way but not as off as the ones this seller sold.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts. If art cards are now being forged including barcodes, casual collectors will be taken advantage of.

Looking closer at the profile it's definitely a fraud. One recent buyer left 2 feedback saying "was authentic in PSA eyes", which is a strange comment to make, like he was expecting it not to. Then I looked at the items: Taylor Swift poster sold for $18 and *drumroll* a Dave Grohl signed drumhead sold for only $1!  Both look super fake.

Wow, I didn't think to check actual feedback comments. This guy thinks he's sneaky with every aspect coverd but its all done so terribly

I found this link which contains a list of places we can report sellers of fake items. The only one that really matters in this case is the FBI

ive updated the original post a bit more to include the direct link to the FBI and other info as well in case he takes down his ebay profile. This information will always be here. I will continue to update as necessary as well. I cant let this go. Its very dangerous for this hobby when people are starting to forge replica art cards. I will also send this link to JSA, PSA and Beckett so they are aware of the situation.. ill be on the lookout more for other reproduced art cards and barcodes going forward

Nice catch and the seller knows people will bite on these and be ripped off. The fact they are changing their ID shows they know the game is up and hopefully, this will lead to their demise.

Awful.

We should update ACOA and the RACC Facebook group about this as well. God knows where that forger is hiding right now and who he managed to fool since this was posted
