Hey!

I was spending some time perusing an antique store and I found two postmaster appointment certificates, 'signed' by Calvin Coolidge and Warren G. Harding for sale for around $25 each (the seller said it was likely a secretarial). Indeed, the Coolidge signature is a facsimile, and I was able to find an identical pattern online. However, I have not been able to find an identical pattern for the Warren G. Harding signature, and the signatures I've found on similar documents vary generally. For any Harding experts, is this pattern a secretarial? Have Presidents ever authentically signed appointments for postmasters? I'd greatly appreciate any knowledge or expertise you could impart!

Member Mr. Herman Darvick is very skilled with presidential material and the like. Perhaps if you leave a message on his "wall" asking him to look at this thread...

In my opinion, the Postmaster's appointment above is authentically signed by President Warren G. Harding.
