PSA and JSA authenticated this fake McCartney "Signed" Abbey Road Drawing

https://www.ebay.com/itm/127604725724  "Abbey Road"

Up for auction for nearly half a million dollars -- and it's fake. Has all the hallmarks of a known forger who has been exposed on this site in 2014.

How could PSA and JSA authenticate this?

Here are some examples of the forgers artwork so you can see how similar they are.

You can't answer the question without requesting content? It's a yes or no - was the drawing taken into account?

Eric,

The report shows you what was analyzed… the autograph. If you proceed with a submission, you’ll see how you can choose the area you wish to analyze. While your feedback is welcomed, it is of little value without having you actually try the system.

That item could be eliminated without the signature...unless my memory is going it was said to be drawn by Paul. It was not.

Well…. We haven’t addressed authenticating drawings yet, but I’m fairly confident that VeriMarx identified the signature as a forgery…

My point was that item could be eliminated without even looking at the signature. Like this JSA. Date alone...

Perhaps..and we are thrilled that VeriMarx identified a forged signature that a TPA authenticated… our point ;).

I don’t think so because it could have been Macca’s authentic signature with someone else’s artwork. That’s apparently what both PSA and JSA think that it is, and now the eBay seller as well.

I think it was authenticated simply as Macca signed artwork. Even the eBay description was changed to say that the artwork isn’t by Macca.

Perhaps...look at the date of the still and the discrepancy of the dated signature.

Perhaps. I was responding to this - "The former owner of this Piece of Music History notes that Paul McCartney drew this more detailed Sketch of the Famous "Abbey Road" Cover, just days before the album was released in September, 1969 and gave it to one of the Studio Employees who worked there while The Beatles were creating Their Final Masterpiece "Abbey Road" which would be their Last Album they would record together."
