Over $10,000.00 worth of Jackie Gleason stickered stuff available on EBAY. Would you pay $299.00 for this?:http://www.google.com/images?q=jackie+gleason+psa/dna&oe=utf-8&...

If people want to defend PSA/DNA then have at it...

I did. But you forgot to mention that the parts would be surgically reattached to the perps' foreheads to make them easily recognizable for what they are.
How the hell can they pass that and the secretarial versions? The writing, just of "Best Wishes" is so different.
Not mine...even if I got them all wrong.

and a Pre-Cert at that!  How many exemplars do they keep before they discard or update them....  e.g. if this was a current then how can one authenticate or pre-cert the vast majority (although the authentication timelines are not easily identified).

I gave this discussion a more descriptive title.

Forgeries isn't quite what I think of when I hear "secretarials" as in an authorized signers.  Perhaps splitting hairs.  I draw up a different model for forgeries.  Either way they are both "not authentic"

the disturbing part of the Legendary one, aside from pre-cert (and like auction house loa before that) and the issue that I have had with that term and implication, which I have written about before, is that there is no issue with dating the non-authentic one.  An august '11 timeframe.

Thus, it would appear 1. they really aren't looking at it to begin with   2. they are not even looking at their own authentic exemplar   3. they have a stable of both authentic/non-authentic exemplars and think all of them are ok   4.  the opinionator is using their own collection of exemplars to authenticate from   or 5.  All of the above.

Since there are at least 3 - 4 authentic ones just in this thread alone it would appear the collection in play by psa/dna is faulty at best or the opininator.

I just wish the celebrities or secretaries knew what they were doing when they have secretaries sign for them. It doesn't matter, try as they might to make the signature appear like their employer, no one wants this person's signature. It would be much better to just return the photograph instead of putting on a charade. I'm sure most don't understand the autograph world but who wants to show or be proud of an autopen or secretarial? The worst is when someone sends in an item which has been signed by other(s) and a secretary adds the celebrities' signature. Don't they know they're ruining the item!
Is that true? PSA/DNA authenticated?

If it is a "full LOA" then someone's name was issued on it whether they know it or not.  One needs to check as there are many distinctions with Pre-certs by XYZ -vs- COAs with Orlando's name and Full LOAs.

Greg, never believe Cousins lol.  I still have a problem with the pre-cert one you depicted for Legendary as that clearly says - Grad.  Based on their own exemplars I would have severe agita if that were the case as that is measurable to August '11.  Thus, he knows something we don't know & he ain't gonna tell us -or- more obviously he or (us) are dead wrong.

Certainly disturbing when one 3rd party seems to recognize while the other seems to be having difficulty.  One thing that is still of a concern is one of the earlier side by sides that indicated in-person appeared to not have the JA linking which many of the authentic ones appear to have.

where did that in-person come from and are there any other in-person ones available?

The links in your first RRAuction list of Gleasons didn't work so I replaced them as text (which removes formatting). You can do that by clicking the button with a T in it on the toolbar above, fourth from left, and pasting the text in.
What value is there in listing all the Gleasons on R&R without saying which ones you think are secretarial?
