Queen Authenticity

Hello,

I'm looking to understand whether Queen autographs are genuine or not and, eventually to buy something autographed. I especially love this album, so have been looking at this for a while.

I was wondering if anyone could help with whether this - from the listing "autographed in biro backstage by all four band members at Birmingham Town Hall in 1974" was likely genuine?

This item should be avoided. All 4 signatures are atypical and low quality due to the pen being pressed so hard into the item, the ink didnt release and we'll never know if it was really a pen malfunction or a forger's handiwork.

Thanks very much for your help Innuendo. Do you know if there is a particular place that tends to have definitely genuine autographs, or it is just luck and finding the right item wherever you are?

Unfortunately there is no solid place to find genuine pieces. All auction houses have a mixed bag. Just keep your eyes peeled and feel free to message any time if you find an item youd like an opinion on. I try to get back to everyone as soon as I can
