I know some of the members here have purchased Genesis signed books. I was wondering on these random signature books. Overall is it worth the price? I'm tempted although not yet convinced. Thanks.

Be more specific -- Genesis has 100's of books out.  What do you mean by "random signature books?"

For instance, let's take the current offering. The Sunshine of Your Love book which is signed by at least three Crossroads musicians. I know there have been others with a similar concept sold in the past. Just trying to find out if these type of issues are worth the cost and the satisfaction factor.

Here's a link to what I am referring to.

the one signed by Clapton was the best deal the rest are pot luck

but there very nicely done

I have the Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page and it is impressive. Although I guess I am a bit leery of purchasing a book that you don't know who actually has signed it until it's in your hand.

I've looked at those and declined.  My decision was based upon a failed experiment buying a pot luck style box of Chicago Cubs stuff, guaranteed to have been signed by 2 or 3 players or coaches.  I didn't pay a ton and knew it was a fun little risk.  When it arrived, my signatures were like a batting coach and a pitching coach and maybe Pedro Strope.  No thanks, haha.  I did buy from Genesis a Bob Dylan signed limited edition print from the Behind the Picture Frame series (all sold out now).  I'm very happy with that item.

Thanks, Christopher. That's kind of how I'm looking at it. I know the books are of high quality but it's the not knowing that throws a damper on it.
