Questionable Stan Lee signed comics

Well, there's actually nothing questionable about them to me; I'm just being polite. Among the problems are the completely wrong 'S' and the fact that he simply doesn't write such a large signature.

By the way, here are pictures of what I got today:

Max Brooks signed poster and book.

Probably the biggest Stan Lee auto I've ever seen (the poster is 24x36) and it's mine haha. Maybe a few of you remember me asking if he'd sign his autograph large and when I requested it he did. Very nice guy.

Look at this mess that just sold for $150 that was also authenticated by PSA. How can you even authenticate this? Came from allsportsprod who again, sells 100s of PSA authenticated items. PSA really needs to fix the issue of authenticating anything a return customer submits.

Although it contains traits that are typical of his autograph I do not know how an authenticator can pass an item that is so sloppy. It reminds me of a Don Mattingly autograph that Ryan posted in another discussion.

The entire signature reminds me of a dragon that I drew in kindergarten. Can you see it? It is facing left and it has a pair of wings and a tail.

Just had a chuckle when I saw that perhaps the biggest mess posted in this entire thread is now being sold as a reprint photo. They even did PSA a real favor by cropping out their ill-advised sticker-of-approval.

Authenticity aside, who would want this mess when mass quantities of quality signatures are available for much less?

I was wondering the same thing Mr. Zipper. The only thing that I can think of is the item that was signed may be a rare piece to find his autograph on and may also explain why the autograph is so sloppy. It may have been signed in person and the item was not supported by anything.

Any idea what my Stan Lee signed poster may be worth? I'm definitely not selling it, but I keep accounts of how much I paid for everything and rough estimate value. I paid $5 for the poster and $60 for Stan Lee's autograph, it's a great piece that will look awesome framed.
