Re unidentified 1930s movie star autographs

Hi,

Can anyone identify the signatures in the images. They were taken from a 1930s autograph book that included Fred Astaire, Shirley Temple, Merle Oberon, John Mills etc so I am assuming they are of a similar genre

First one looks like maybe Curly Howard.

The first one looks like Leslie Howard to me.

Jack Buchanan is the second

The first one is Leslie Howard and In my opinion is OK.  I also agree that the second is Jack Buchanan and I think that is OK too.

Many thanks for everyone's help. I must admit I was struggling, especially with the Leslie Howard as I had convinced myself the 1st letter was a 'c'

I have to say that is a bit different than the way I have seen him sign but the rest looks good so am sure it is OK.
