Hi Everyone-
Back again with a few Blondie curiosities. I recently purchased a copy of their 2nd LP, Plastic Letters, from a UK dealer. Normally I mistrust UK sellers but I felt it looked pretty legit. Take a look: I was thrown off though by his other offerings of a signed copy of Parallel Lines, particularly the slant to Debbie's signature, as well as the unfamiliar formation of the "D" in Debbie: Additionally, here's his copy of Eat To The Beat. Again, looks good but the "D" in Debbie seems slightly off (although less so):
Now I'd like to buy another Blondie LP from him, Their self-titled Blondie. I feel almost as sure it's authentic as I was with my purchase of Plastic Letters but, like the others, the "D" looks off to me just ever so slightly:
To make matters even more perplexing, he claims that they were all signed at the same event in 2005. Even if all signatures ARE authentic, it seems strange that Debbie's signature would vary much if signed within moments of each other. My gut tells me that Plastic Letters (pics #1 & #2) is authentic. I believe Parallel Lines (pic #3) COULD be authentic except for Debbie's signature, which may have been an added forgery to secure a sale. I believe Eat To The Beat (pics #4 & #5) COULD be authentic. Lastly, I believe Blondie (pics #6 & #7) is most likely authentic... what do YOU think? Firstly, which do you think are legit and which, if any, do you think are forgeries (and WHY)? Do you believe the "D's" could be natural variations that were signed at the same time?
Finally, an unrelated offering of a Blondie signed photo allegedly signed in 1979 at SNL following a Blondie musical appearance. This one looks the most dubious but, because it's possibly signed by the whole band I have to consider it:
Do you think this photo could possibly be legit? Any and all opinions (but especially Richard Booth!) would be greatly appreciated. -Syren

Thanks Samuel for the speedy reply. Seems we're more or less on the same page.
Hi Richard! Thanks for responding. So what do you make of the fact that they look different from one another yet the seller claims they were signed together? Are we to assume that he somehow owned one legit item (Plastic Letters) but fabricated a story to pass off a few fakes he was conned into buying by mistake (or intentionally forged)? Luckily, I already have what I believe to be legit signed Parallel Lines (Debbie only) and Eat To The Beat (Debbie only) LPs (see below), so I'm not too disappointed there, but I'd really like to think that the self-titled LP is real.
Samuel, is your last "Something About It" comment regarding the Eat To The Beat and Parallel Lines signed in black at the top of the page or the gold signatures toward the bottom?
Oh, okay. Thanks for clarifying. I actually bought both from the same Seller. I immediately got that knowing feeling in my gut that the Eat To The Beat was genuine- such a perfect execution, and in my preference of a metallic paint pen. While no guarantee, I figured the chances of the Parallel Lines also being genuine were good (same source, same pen).
Nice Jay. I almost bought a signed picture disc too- wish I had now. Thanks for sharing.
Richard, is your last "Hard To Know" comment regarding the Eat To The Beat and Parallel Lines signed in black at the top of the page or the gold signatures toward the bottom?
