It's my first time posting, so I apologize if I do something wrong here or if I am missing some information commonly added.

About six months ago, my girlfriend and I bought some things supposedly signed by Paul and Ringo, the story is the guy used to work for Capitol Records and through the years he gathered up signatures. He didn't offer a COA (rookie mistake) but his background, for certain reasons, seemed to check out.

But some things are coming up and out as of late that just seem odd, stories not really lining up, we found him selling the other half of the red album with Paul's signature as well, things like that.

Based on just the story it could go either way at this point, but we're worried we paid for some fakes and we're hoping for some insight.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hello and welcome. A fine first post. I'm sorry to say these do not look good.

Thank you for the reply! May I ask what seems wrong with it?

Low quality forgeries?

I agree, these don't look right IMO

Thank you for your reply! Not to sound repetitive, but what seems wrong? I'm not honestly sure how to tell.

Ringo's is a fake. While Paul's appears legit - it, too, is fake.

Thank you for your help! If Paul's seems legit, what indicates it's fake? And I've been asking that, but my angle is that if I'm to confront the guy to potentially get our money back (we still have his contact info) I'd like to be able to point out how we know.

What were the terms of sale? What recourse? Returns? Will you have to use his chosen authenticators? They will rubberstamp everthing.
