I see this site brought up a lot on this site for autograph references.

problem is, who ever this Stephan is he has a load of forgeries up here too. I get messages from people from time to time saying he has offered to sell a member here an item or two and it is never the real stuff imo, it is usually the fake stuff. Greed. He wants money but doesn't want to part with the good stuff.
Eagles are his most famous work. Attached is a screen shot of his fake work (not limited too). Notice how they are the same..... duh. If you look through his stuff he has loads of fake Zeppelin, Beatles, Springsteen, Stones, Floyd and more. Even the so called authentic Traveling Wilbury's is not real. Maybe the George and Petty are ok but 100% not the Lynne and I'm pretty sure the Dylan is bogus also. Anyway, I don't wish to debat about this guy and his ethics but if you are using him a reference be careful and I wouldn't buy anything from the guy either.

It's frustrating that everyone here is focusing on Steiger and his accusations when we can be focusing on the autographs and actually learning something. That issue is between Mr. Duncan and Steiger and has already been addressed by the moderator. Let them deal with it.
Roger, I'm assuming you have examples from your own collection that match this style in Stephen's items. If you can post them with some background info it would go a long way to educating people rather than just calling us names in a dismissive manner. PSA has also failed these items, and multiple respected authenticators have expressed issues with Stephen's items, so it's not just a few youngsters with no knowledge and nothing better to do.
I didn't call anyone names. You use PSA as if it's a person, well it's not, it's a bunch of people mostly youngsters who don't have a clue. They also failed every Eagles item that was submitted that Lee Hunter got himself in person. The only time their name is used in a good way is when it fits your need. If it doesn't then they suck. The same with JSA. Who are the other "respected" authenticators you speak of?
Of course I have in person examples that match his, I have been doing this since 1977. I'm not here to educate anyone on this site the way they have treated me, Stephen and many others. Everyone here needs to open their minds and quit the tunnel vision. This is someone's life long work, whether there are good and bad autographs in the collection. It's not for anyone to judge as he is not saying it's for exemplars it's for him and he wanted to share it. If you don't think they are all authentic drop him a line but for Christ's sake don't call him a forger or anything bad.
People on here say things on this thread about me including yourself. You have no idea which items I looked at and said were ok or not. You just put a blanket statement that PSA failed them but I passed them, which ones? You can't make statements like that without any basis to back it up.
If you want to pay me to put something together I might do it but other than that I want no part in teaching those who throw boulders at people like me. I tried teaching here before and that was a huge mistake.
I never said anything accusatory, my only goal is the same as Stephens, to get to the truth about the signatures. It is a fact that PSA failed the items that Chrisopher submitted, and you passed them. He has been very public about the whole process and he wants to make sure he's buying authentic autographs, and who can blame him.
I have looked through Lee's examples, as well as past auctions and your own material. I have yet to find examples that match those found in Stephen's items which is why I am concerned. I am not out on a vendetta, I only want to make sure people who are buying from Stephen are getting authentic signatures. As does everyone else here.
Mike T you have said many times that PSA failed a lot of Stephen Duncan items. I would like to see the PSA rejection letters along with photos of the rejected items (which would be on the letters). If they only failed quick opinion, that service is HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE as other members on this site have pointed out. The people who look at those "quick opinions" are nameless, faceless, PSA staffers who give the items a quick glance -- and who knows what exemplars (if any) they are basing their opinions on?
Ask Christopher if he is willing to post the rejection letters, that is not up to me Bruce. But they failed the in person examination, not the quick opinion. Although they have also failed the QO too, if that matters. I'm not making it up, if that is what you are insinuating.
As I've mentioned, PSA rejected the first two Eagles LPs I submitted. Upon receiving full rejection letters, I compiled additional information, such as a signed attestation from SD and Roger's LOAs and I resubmitted everything. This is basically the same approach I took with the two U2 LPs that were originally rejected and upon second submission, approved. I assumed that upon second submission, PSA would approve both Eagles LPs as well. However, the result from the second submission was different and strange. I just looked up my PSA account to confirm. When I open that particular order, the second submission, under "Result / Grade", it reads: "No Grade / Voucher Will be Mailed". When I first saw this, I called to ask what it meant and to inform PSA that I had received no voucher. I asked if this meant that PSA had amended their position from rejected to basically, we don't know. The customer service person didn't know what it meant either so put me on hold to check. She came back and said that no voucher would be mailed and that they were rejected a second time, though she seems uncertain that what she was telling me was correct and seemed more concerned about the voucher aspect than the opinion aspect. So I asked that the order record be amended to reflect this. As of now, months later, it still says "No Grade / Voucher Will be Mailed". That's how it happened.
