Here is a certified PSA exemplar. Member JoeW knows this signature.
As you may note, the PSA example was signed in an unrushed situation. The JSA example was obtained in a more rushed situation. With that said, starting with his "R" in the OP there are a couple of caution flags.
Hi Joe, thank you for your input. The odd thing is that I actually used your item to compare it to (among a few others) and thought that this is a good one! I may have this wrong of course having not being too familiar with Roy Schieder autographs. But having looked at few others from the past (80s & 90s), it doesn't look too bad at all.
I'll go for a few more views on it before I pull any trigger though and here in the UK we do not see many Schieders so again, I'm not very good on his signature.
Thanks again.
It appears the Autograph World exemplar looks much closer than mine. At least, with the first name. IMHO.
I think it might have a chance. The baseline and a few other things can be seen to a degree in the exemplars posted. I suggest ACOA's team.
ACOA is the best choice, especially on a quick opinion. From my experience, I would not trust a QP from Beckett or PSA.
I agree with that Joe, ACOA do seem to be the best now. The last time I asked Beckett for a quick opinion I payed them and received nothing back. I had to go via the PayPal route to get a refund because they ignored all my chase up emails about it.
The last time I did a Beckett quick opinion, I had an "opinion" 7 minutes after my PayPal payment went through to them. That's speedy service! (tongue firmly planted in cheek)
MUCH longer than I expected.
