Salem's Lot 1979 TV Version Lew Ayers SP and Original Sill
Hi All,
One of my favorite characters from the book and the film was the school teacher, Matt (film "Jason") Burke, who plays "Van Helsing" from his hospital bed. Directed by Tobe Hooper, this was certainly scary in 1979!

Lew "Dr. Kildare" Ayers.
He was another great actor who was in an episode of Columbo and and in The Omen 2.
