Hey, guys. I have a question or two and thought I'd run them by you.

As I've stated before, when I was a teen I went to Saturday Night Live for a couple of years. Over that time I obtained a bunch of in-person signatures. I sold a John Belushi and have a Gilda Radner for sale. My quandary is I have that SNL book from 1977 (the one with Francisco Franco on the cover) with a number of signatures in it and not quite sure how to go about selling.

The top sigs in the book are John Belushi, Bill Murray (two, actually), Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin, Laraine Newman and Garrett Morris. Secondaries are Buck Henry, Paul Shaffer and a few of the writers. John's signature is on the opposite page from Bill's so anyone wanting to buy would have to take them together. Up side is there is a second Bill on another page.

My questions-sell the book as a "lot" or break them up. I hate to do that but not sure if the value is in the book as a whole or individual signatures. Second, what would you say is the ballpark value of all of these sigs, as a group or individual.

Thanks for your help!

Père Tanguy, who sold paints and canvas to the impressionist from a little shop, had a wife who would take Cezanne's still life canvasses of bowls of fruit and fruit on tables and cut them up into little individual apples etc and sell them for more. It was...a shortsighted move.

I would keep them together.

I would keep it together. I have a one of kind Blues history book with 19 rare musician graphs, and piece is worth much more as a whole then the individual graphs as cuts. Plus the damage to the piece to break it up destroys a small piece of history imho.

keep it together

Thanks for your input, guys. Funny bit of trivia re; my time going to SNL..Jonathan Frakes was on a soap called The Doctors (which I watched at the time) so have his autograph too.

I have the book up on EBay.

I didn't notice the Bill Murray signatures. Are you listing those separately?

There are pics of both of the Bill Murray signatures. The only one I didn't have space for is Alan Zweibel.

I can't seem to find it. Can you provide a link?

Absolutely beautiful piece! I would sincerely consider this if I had not just dropped a bunch of coin this last week on a couple other pieces. The Belushi is a classic piece by itself. The rest just adds to the history of the series. Again, absolutely beautiful. Whoever gets this will have a treasure.

It does not get get much better then the below signature, which is only one of many signatures in the book.

Thanks, Tacoma!

The Buy It Now price is well placed and easily fair. I would hope to see this go fairly quickly to the right buyer for that price.
