Shouldn't TPA Authentication RAISE the value of an item??? Not the case with GFA

This is getting more comical by the day.  Myself and a few others have been following the prices realized on ebay for GFA certed items.   It is on a rapid downward trend, as evidenced by this Mickey Mantle signed baseball:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-day-BOLD-AUTO-Mickey-Mantle-Single-Signed...$249 with 8 hours left. If this were an authentic Mantle it would not have lasted 5 minutes, as one of the astute collectors or power sellers would have jumped on it at this price.

Here is another example where this seller is conducting a "mass dump" (pun intended) of these GFA forgeries, all for one price, and I guarantee that the winning bid will be less than what an authentic Mantle and Dimaggio 8x10 would command.

Looks like collectors are finally waking up.

Definitely not the case with Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) group.

The below piece, if it was authentic (which it certainly isn't!!!!), would easily sell in the four-digit range.

But this crap, usually sold by Ebay seller Gofsu2010 who has sold dozens, ends up selling for between $200.00 and $275.00.

These are laughable forgeries penned in the last six months and Ebay seller Gofsu2010 has sold dozens of these forgeries.

I think its comical how many of these have surfaced over the past 6 months.  this movie came out 54 years ago.

Yep, Terrier, and all penned during the last six months.

Roger Maris passed away over 30 years ago and all-of-a-sudden this "hoard" of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris autographs on "Safe At Home" posters surfaces.

Yeah right!!!

What a scam!!!!

If it wasn't for the idiot and moronic wannabe autograph collectors, this crap wouldn't sell!!!!

What a scam!!!!

Terrier, that's not a Mickey Mantle. That's a Mickey Mautle and actually priced rather high for one.

you are correct, Steve. My mistake!
