did anybody else get that ozzy signed litho email just now?

this is what it said:

"Thank you for preordering the Deluxe Vinyl of “Ordinary Man”! Your order is about to ship and you will receive tracking information soon.

Please note, your free Limited Edition Ordinary Man album lithograph may arrive in less than mint condition. It has traveled the long road from being hand-signed by Ozzy, meeting up with your vinyl, all the way to your door.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support."

I responded right back to them and said..if this doesn't get to me in new/mint condition, it is going back and you are sending one that arrives to me in new/mint condition or i contest with my CC...I bought new items..not damaged items...they are trying to cover their own a**** over something they are not telling us about, imho..

I have gotten several signed lithos and NEVER have I gotten a BS  email like this, EVER..NOBODY DOES THAT!

The normal plastic cased signed  cds from the UK are legit and 12” lithos from the US Ozzy store are legit the fakes are the softpack CDs from America all are autopenned  and there are 3 autopenned versions these have been mailed out in the last few days.....

I believe with a high level of certainty that Ozzy’s corporation, or whatever it is, hired “Music Today” to distribute these Ozzy products. Sharon is not just a manager, she’s a micromanager, and it would be naive to think that there is anything but full complicity with this fraud. And that’s what it is - fraud. Visit the company’s web site here: https://www.musictoday.com. They describe people like Ozzy as “clients.” There is no way that they are not working for Ozzy Co. and doing this fraud without the full authorization of Ozzy Co. under contract. They probably got the autopen patterns directly from Ozzy Co., because if they were doing this without authorization, Ozzy Co. would be the first ones to sue them. Mine are on the way and when the fake signatures arrive I will be seeking a full refund. If that doesn’t happen immediately I guarantee that it will eventually once I describe this fraud to PayPal and my credit card company. Fraud like this is illegal.

I wonder where THIS image was sourced.  It is different than the three variants discussed here.  At least 7 ebay sellers are currently using this image in their listing.

With all the artists with fakes in their name I think it’s what you call “turning a blind eye (to something).” Company probably didn’t think they’d get busted like this.

the labels will do anything to sell and move product all to pad their sales numbers to classify an album as gold, platinum..etc...that is all they care about..so they will autopen the hell out of a cd or album to move it to prey on fans thinking they are getting something unique when in reality they are ripping folks off of what they actually think they bought..it's sleazy and they are snakes...they will never change...

The only thing that will HOPEFULLY stop this practice of autopening and not telling the consumer that what they are buying is either hand-signed or not is a class action lawsuit...That will make them listen for sure. ANybody a lawyer here?

Spread the word every where I even Wrote to TMZ on there facebook page We have nothing to lose. There's plenty of proof

Has anybody heard from music today about refunds  I haven;t received any e-mails back yet

No reply, I filed a dispute with my CC company.

Good job Ken! Think it might be a good idea for everyone here to report the autopen listings on ebay in the hopes they get pulled? I would hate to see someone pay up to 80 dollars for this garbage

I contacted all the sellers on eBay on Saturday telling them they are autopenned  - all have ignored me.... they obviously know anyway as they would have ordered multiple copies......

Thank goodness I bought a CD from an Ebay seller who was honest and understanding. He had sold 10 of the autopenned CDs for around $65 each. I sent him that great screenshot shown earlier in this thread of the 3 autopen patterns. He quickly thanked me and refunded my purchase. There are good people out there...believe it or not!
