Signed Ozzy Lithos E-mail...Anybody else get this?
did anybody else get that ozzy signed litho email just now?
this is what it said:
"Thank you for preordering the Deluxe Vinyl of “Ordinary Man”! Your order is about to ship and you will receive tracking information soon.
Please note, your free Limited Edition Ordinary Man album lithograph may arrive in less than mint condition. It has traveled the long road from being hand-signed by Ozzy, meeting up with your vinyl, all the way to your door.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support."
I responded right back to them and said..if this doesn't get to me in new/mint condition, it is going back and you are sending one that arrives to me in new/mint condition or i contest with my CC...I bought new items..not damaged items...they are trying to cover their own a**** over something they are not telling us about, imho..
I have gotten several signed lithos and NEVER have I gotten a BS email like this, EVER..NOBODY DOES THAT!

All three of those. UMG is handling Smith and Bieber, which further stacks the odds against them. They have no regard whatsoever for sending out authentic product (or customer service in general). Plus I'm not exactly convinced either of those two artists would follow through anyway.

Why do they even bother then? What benefit is it to them to upset fans? It just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe they think fans won't notice that the autographs are autopens?

Helps push album sales, so higher in the charts. Also most of the people buying them probably dont know they're fakes.. It's only us collectors that know

I just called Musictoday about returning these and they emailed me a return label. They told me to just send back in the same mailer that I received these in and they will process a refund in 2-3 days. At least they aren't giving a hard time about returning these.

It's a shame that without a doubt the ones on ebay are autopens if we all get the same we all need to send them back let them eat all signed cd booklets, I realize some people will buy them anyway but we don;t have to we have to let them know were smarter than that

What website is the source of the autopen signatures? I ordered mine directly from the Ozzy Osbourne Music store.

Yes, that is where I purchased mine from also. I will contact them. Are we certain that all of the items being shipped from that location are autopen signatures? I just searched the item on eBay, and it is obvious that they are in circulation.
