This was sold today for£3,400 before BP.

Looked genuine to me but I wasn't keen on the faded appearance and book signatures are difficult to display/enjoy properly anyway.

Any thoughts?

Nice...

So what was the final sale price?  3400 plus 20% ?

UK auction house?

About $5,200 US with BP. I think someone got a good deal.

Good set for someone!

Yes, UK auction house. I guess it was 20% BP.

The best thing I think is that John has written "good" before his name. I presume he wrote that because of his "bigger than Jesus" comment to the journalist who wrote the text to this book (Cleave).

What I cannot really understand is how the signatures could fade in a book. I doubt it was displayed open. Can ink fade without light?

Looks good to me

very nice
