Surely we should be delighted that we are still getting signed books by Sir David. He's 97 years old?? These do not look autopen to me. Would agree - why sadly?

I am referring to the book supplier, not dear old Sir David, lol.

Time was I would not have thought it necessary to have to check a signed book from Waterstones, e.g.  Those days are gone.

I had to spend a couple of minutes on this with a torch to make sure it is not printed. Did you notice the surface of the paper - it almost glossy.
