No legitimate legal firm is taking this under consideration, I assure you. There is no upfront compensation for a retainer and it’s nothing worth investing in pro bono from a restitution standpoint for $50 items regardless of how many sold. It’s not happened for the countless other instances of similar situations and it’s not happening now.

Not true. I have worked with this firm before. They take cases on contingency (contingency lawyer in California is an attorney who works on a “no win, no fee” basis. These lawyers provide various legal services, particularly in personal injury, employment, and worker’s compensation cases. They only receive payment if they successfully recover a sum for their client from someone else.) I've been involved in a few class action cases so I do have some experience. Usually the attorneys are the ones who get millions because they get all costs paid by the opposition as well as a big slice of a percentage (40%) of total awarded monies, while everyone else will get most of their money back. And the person who starts the lawsuit gets more because they put their name on it. So there are many, many, many law firms in California that work this way. I'm currently working with a firm out if San Francisco on housing habitiablity issues. Plus, if you don't seek it out, how will you know for sure? I guess if they take the case you are opting out? Nor are you willing to file a complaint? BTW, this particular national, highly successful firm never, under any circumstances ask for money uo front. And you don't pay unless they win.........

You understand the difference between a firm taking a case for personal injury or housing / habitability legalities vs. proving a fake Snoop Dogg signature, yes?

I just won a class action against Macy's because they advertised the wrong thread count on sheets and everyone that had purchased a set got refunded monies, only about $22 but the law firm got $1200 an hour paid by Macy's. Fraud by a company is one of the easiest cases to win. So yes, I am extremely educated on pursuing litigation and am pretty successful as well. So I guess we shall let the attorneys that I contacted, and have a relationship with, tell us. I am one of the most litigious people I know. I drop a lawsuit every chance I get!!

Were you the lead plaintiff or just a member of thr class?  I recall that suit.  In any case, that case wasn't "won" - it was settled.  It might feel the same when cashing the $22 check but the reality is that virtually all class actions that result in payouts end that way.

As for the Snoop Dogg issue, there needs to be the expectation of a large settlement in order for a law firm to take the case.  If the seller refunds the purchasers then there aren't really any damages to pursue.  Past autopens and secretarials from other celebrities aren't a factor unless they all originated from the same company.

Of course, the state consumer affairs or attorney general approach is a different matter.  If they choose to pursue it then they might get some traction.

Are you an attorney working in California? Have you ever taken any legal action against a company and won? I work with attorneys everyday and I have been successful 3x and am in the middle of a settlement now. So who is better versed in this area I wonder.......I think me living in California, having won multiple lawsuits over shadows you, who lives in the UK and have never won a US lawsuit or even tried.

I live in the UK?

Regardless of where you are (it's easy to change location on on your profile), you are very wrong. I don't post on this site unless I know I'm 100% correct. So yes, I contacted a national law firm that is considering the case. Plus, I took the initiative to be the first to file with the California Attorney General and others here followed suit. What have you done to help the cause other being a Debbie Downer and attacking those of us actually doing something about it!!!!!

Even if they don't take the case everyone should still file a complaint with the California Attorney General. It cost nothing and only takes a few minutes. Or you can complain and accomplish nothing......

I didn’t change my location. I’ve never stated I resided in the UK. Once again, you’re mistaken. Good Luck with your lawsuits.

Forget it! I'm done trying to help people here.

Always some jerk ruining it when someone tries to help. Good luck everyone. I got my money back!!

Trust me, vast majority here support you and want your help. This needs to stop.  It’s getting prevalent.

Plot twist. Turned out Prince Shawn worked for Interscope  😳 . Imagine 😂
