I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998. Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia. For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph. I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998. My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams. I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

May the force be with you too, Mike
I enjoyed TFA more on my 2nd viewing but overall, I found it a bit of an anti-climax in truth - I'm with Pete, I don't think utilising old ideas was a good way forward.
I think they should have constructed a brand new story -- that said, it did have some interesting bits and General Snoke was a good villain - Ren also was no Darth Vader and the ending with the saber battles was a letdown.
Don't get me wrong, despite the criticisms, it was still a fun movie - just not vintage.
Snoke was a good villain?
Snoke was the love child of Voldemort and Gollum.
Don't forget at this stage he was a hologram - we might be able to relate to Snoke more as time goes on.
He seemed to have a more subtle edge to him than the emperor did - the emperor was evil but flawed - we will have to see how Snoke pans out.
I must admit I thought Lord Of The Rings when I saw Snoke but I never considered Harry Potter.
We might learn some more about Snoke in the later films - he came over as being a bit more subtle evil than Palpatine.
lol
Nice
Pete, did you give your review of the movie in Rebelscum? I didnt see it in the reviews thread unless you've changed your name.
That is funny Bradford.
I was 20 when Star Wars premiered in 1977. It wasn't that big of a thing at first. I didn't see it until August when I was in Atlanta for the main coin convention of the year with my then-girlfriend/later ex-wife. We had to drive far into the suburbs to see it by then.
How far? So far that we saw the local high school softball team in the restaurant we had lunch at and they pretty much all looked alike. And a few had one leg shorter than the other.
We see the movie and I am dumbfounded. I had never seen anything like it. What we called primitive special effects in the 1990s had never been seen before until Star Wars, at least that well produced. Realize, Pong was a state of the art video game back then. And for the most part, if at all, special effects were not made by computer.
So I know some people diss Return of the Jedi, but realize that for those of us around back then, particularly adults who grew up watching Star Trek on TV, Star Wars was beyond belief.
I liked Empire Strikes Back better than Return of the Jedi, but all three were as exciting as getting a night with Selina Gomez for your birthday would be today.
