Star Wars Collectors Unite!

I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998. Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia. For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph. I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998. My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams. I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Damn I'm good haha.

I guess I just wasn't a major fan of the original trilogy, except for ROTJ. As I say, ESB and ANH were not bad films, just a tad underwhelming for me.

The prequels for me get a really bad reputation. TPM had one of the best saber fights and villains in Darth Maul. AOTC was a bit less successful in my opinion but Christopher Lee is a great villain and the film was enjoyable, if slightly lacking.

Sith I put after Clones because I enjoyed Clones more as I felt Sith was just a bit of a well intentioned mess but nevertheless, I did enjoy all the prequels - I think its fair to say the prequels, it could be argued in places, was a missed opportunity but I did enjoy them more than some of the films in the original trilogy.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed all the SW films. Can't wait for Episode VIII. Be interesting to see what mysteries get solved.

I enjoyed TFA more on my 2nd viewing but overall, I found it a bit of an anti-climax in truth - I'm with Pete, I don't think utilising old ideas was a good way forward.

I think they should have constructed a brand new story -- that said, it did have some interesting bits and General Snoke was a good villain - Ren also was no Darth Vader and the ending with the saber battles was a letdown.

Don't get me wrong, despite the criticisms, it was still a fun movie - just not vintage.
