Star Wars Collectors Unite!
I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998. Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia. For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph. I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998. My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams. I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Not in person autographs. I don't really think it's important as to how the signature is acquired as long as it's authentic (that is unless is becomes more about the experience than just the autograph). However, since we are just talking about autographs, I think it weighs a lot with me in regards to the quality of the signature. There are some terrible signatures out there that a lot of people put as much value on as a full signature. For example, the Lucas signature that was done with the ewoks and threepio. It sold for $88 and today I see people paying $400 for Lucas' piece of scribble. I'm sorry but that sig doesn't do it for me. IMO

Even more interesting than you know. My agreeing with Brandon on Daniel's "in-person" Ford is kind of trumped by the $40 mmoa Fords that seem to track back to Brandon, that is if I read all the posts correctly.
I know Brandon's collection and have had the opportunity to talk with him on Rebelscum.com about forged Fords in the past.
I am not looking to make anything personal .....just calling the autographs as I see them.

The Ford is another one from Brandon. I have no clue what's going on there as Brandon is one of the best in person collectors I know. However I don't own it. My friend bought it as I referred him to it, as to now I feel terrible about it.
The Fisher is one I want :P. I love the placement of it.

I do know that the Ford signed in blue on hoth passed PSA as I sold it and the buyer messaged me a month later saying it passed, so I'm so confused at the moment. So many conflicting reports.

This appears to be pretty typical of a sloppy Harrison Ford in-person autograph. There are a couple of things about it that have been brought to my attention that concern me. I would therefore only want it in my collection if I trusted the seller.

Here is Daniel's Harrison Ford autograph that he told Brandon he acquired in person at a 1997 press junket for Air Force One. I neglected to include it in my analysis on Monday. I took a look at it a little while ago and I believe I understand why you are concerned about it as well Pete. I am at least concerned about the "H" and the "F". I wonder if Brandon was concerned about the same things.

My concern is the fact that it isn't Harrison Ford's autograph. The level of wrong only starts with the H & F then carries on to the A,R,R,I,S,O,N then jumps to the O,R, and, D.
Letters are all formed wrong, all the wrong height, and all turn the wrong way as they end. H leans right , F leans left .....no one signs that way.
He was better off with the "cousin got them" story, saying that was in-person is just wrong on so many levels.
I know speaking in absolutes can get me in trouble, but that should tell you how confident I am about this.
