Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.
thanks
Mark

I'm thinking probably secretary on this one, but it is not as clear cut as some. I'd ask Roger to weigh in.
In the original thread Roger mentioned he thought the ttm's from JLL he saw in the past looked good but that was before the more recent examples came to light which he does not like for a number of reasons. I posted this one because it is several years old and I'm hoping it is good.
I have to agree that if you pay for the autograph it needs to be authentic or else it's fraud. What if JLL has no idea this is going on and someone else is pocketing the money? What if I had sent the Class of 55 LP and it came back with a fake signature on it, wouldn't that be fraud and destruction of property?
I think writing and asking for a refund would be a real wakeup call for whomever is signing these.
I agree. We all know there are ebay crooks and dishonest charity auctions abound which ruin this hobby for many of us. But to have a celebrity actually commit a money taking fraud is an all time low. If these are signed by Judith, somehow I just have to feel JLL doesn't know whats going on.
Hi Folks. Wow, I just thought of this! Remember my story in the original thread about seeing JLL and Judith in NYC after the Best Buy signing, and asking JLL to sign my Million dollar quartet photo? Well Judith wrote the address for me on where to send the photo to and here it is in her own hand! This may help determine her handwriting technique more. I also sent another 8x10 along with the Million Dollar Quartet photo as a gift to JLL for signing and returning my photo. I told him he can keep it. It’s my own personal 8x10 I took of JLL and Fats at the 1986 Rock and Roll HOF induction in 1986. It was signed by Fats later that year. Well JLL signed it (supposedly!) and returned it instead. Just a little more to add on this subject.
Now the Fats and JLL photo looks fine to me and nothing like the others TTM
