She’s had signed CDs randomly show up at record stores the last few years - wouldn’t hurt checking local stores this Saturday, the timing works out perfectly. Although there’s probably a lot of overlap with people who would queue early for the Olivia Rodrigo and Noah Kahan vinyl(s) so I’d expect them to go fast.

I wouldn't hold your breath about signed copies showing up for RSD on Saturday, as word would have probably leaked out by now,

I do think that the 31-track anthology version of the album will get an eventual physical release, so that will be another thing to look for, as far as possible signed copies.

What a joke

Maybe she'll see that and do like she did on Folklore and keep putting out so many signed copies that they were essentially worthless for years. Guy must have bots if he got that many.

I thought someone here tried to order more than 1 and it wouldn't let them? I just saw the post so I thought I'd share it, really annoys me someone got that many. That would be really cool if she did do more idk about worthless, it's still her autograph to me. I know what you mean by flooding the market but I'd still enjoy the autograph without spending hundreds.

It’s so sad to see something like these. I tried in multiple stores and the CDs sold out instantly. I didn’t have any opportunity to buy them :( and now it’s the only signed cd that I’m missing from her…

Yeah always sucks to have to pay scalpers 10x the price for one... I'd normally rather miss something than do that.

I meant worthless as in they had no extra value compared to what they sold for... so essentially worthless to scalpers.

She signed so many and sold them for $25, so people bought a ton of them... then dropped the price to $13 making the $25 ones worth even less than people paid, and signed almost an unlimited supply...they didn't sell out for a very long time compared to anything else she puts out signed I think it was up for a couple days but i could be wrong... so they were selling on ebay for like $20-30 for the longest time, so I'm sure a lot of resellers either had to hold them a long time, or didn't make much, if any, if they sold them after all the fees.

They're worth a decent amount now since she's back in the spotlight and the thousands of them that were on ebay sold off, so they're a bit more rare on there now. But still don't go for as much as her other ones last I looked.

I know this because I paid $25 for the one I got, and was annoyed when the price dropped in half lol. But now I consider it was a good buy lol.

And there's a lot of ways of getting around those limits. People will use 100 different email addresses, bots, various addresses, different cards, etc... they catch some, but if someone is as greedy as the person in that post, they'll find a way. Then that also adds in the problem of genuine fans orders getting cancelled if the computer thinks they were buying extras. So it's definitely not foolproof.

Where did they get the values from?

I purchased two of the Midnights Vinyls last year, one of them was signed with a heart and it would have not added more than £10-20 extra to the value and not another £250 and that was for a Vinyl not a smaller CD.

Update: did search for midnights, where had i sold it last year with a heart would have sold for £90 ish for the vinyl now they are selling for £160-£180, why not just by the midnight signed with heart then instead of a £500 cd, this is a terrible place the die hard fans have created to actually sink to buying £500 signed cds.

Are die hard Swifties now this bad? Or is it a trigger happy angry fan making up figures based on one sale?

I guess they will have to lower their prices. No one will be buying them at that price. Even the limited signed lover inserts where floating on eBay for years around 200$, no one was buying them. So I guess no one will buy these signed inserts this time around. Let’s wait and see.

I think one of the previous albums she did hearts on a VERY limited amount so the value was significantly different, but then the next few she did them on like 50-75% or more, so people just thought they could get away with charging that, even though the heart ones weren't really even rare like the previous release. They only actually added a small amount to the value.

Midnights with signed heart doubled in value since launch, and as for this release at least one did sell today for about £500 GBP so it has happened.
