Looking at their site and talking to them they seem very legit in the talk and the cash back guarantees.
However, the sigs, although they look fantastic and bang on for most items; I cannot pinpoint a person on the net or in any groups that has hard proof that they are not legit.  So much so as that PSA has authenticated items of theirs that a friend of mine bought.

What is the final word on this place?

I'm surprised that PSA/DNA has authenticated anything from them. We've never seen anything on their site we thought was genuine. Can your friend post what they got from them that PSA authenticated here, along with the COA? Maybe they have some real material, but that would be a shock.

What a joke.
All of their items are bogus.
They once burned me and I´m still mad at myself for falling to their fancy looking items and the "great" service...
Besides: the cash back guarantee is worth nothing. Try to get your money back...they don´t even answer.
STAY CLEAR !!!!
If PSA/DNA really authenticated any of their items as genuine, then I´m speechless
I was just checking out their Star Trek signed items and not only are most of the pictures so small that you can't really see the autographs well but what you can see are way off. I was also looking at the Summer Glau signed items and I know her well so I know that the autographs for one she never signs that small and there is way more to it than what they show.

OK KIDS! this is getting good, sent a email to Inferis stating I have bought from them many times blah blah blah.. just to see.

HERE IS THE RESPONSE!

Dear Chris Maksylewicz,

Please, rest assured your collectibles are authentic.

It is a well know fact that these third party examination companies are not
reliable especially when they claim to examine posters. Their verdict is
always non-authentic. If your collectible is a signed photo and comes from a
company they like, it is authentic. If your collectible is a multi-signed
item, it will automatically be labeled as "probably not authentic".

We have found an alarming percentage of fakes being sold on eBay
authenticated by companies such as PSA/DNA, and even though they are blunt
and obvious forgeries, they still labeled them "authentic".

To PSA/DNA, for instance, a poster carrying multiple autographs is a forgery
and will not even dignify their job by doing a proper examination. A
multi-signed item takes from 6 to 24 months to be completed and the pen inks
will vary since it is impossible to use the same pen at every different
signing event. One of PSA/DNA standards is that if the pen inks vary the
item is not authentic when logic dictates all the opposite.

Below you will find some interesting reading material that will help you get
better knowledge of how deceptive authenticating companies are.

To help you in your quest I would like to recommend to you sites such as
Startiger and UACC where you will be able to do your own research.
Startiger, specifically, is a perfect site for fans and collectors who share
and compare their items. No sales are made in this site which will lead you
to a much more objective research results.

Please, compare your autographs with others shown at any of these sites. You
will be able to see the memorabilia you have been purchasing is authentic.

Yours sincerely, Jonathan Fre.

Subject: Items under question

Hello, i have bought from you for many years, many posters and items. I
have recently found out that many have been fraudulent. PSA and JSA third
party examinations have given me letters stating that the pieces (over 5
of them so far) are fake.

I have for each, the piece and the COA but no the original bill for some
as they were purchased years ago.

What do I need to do to obtain the full lifetime refund stated by your
website on these pieces once all have been verified.

It's amazing what the bad dealers tell customers. These folks may want to look at our Star Wars posters feature in the May issue. They're signed in various combinations of black, blue, silver and gold marker--and Steve Grad, the head authenticator of PSA/DNA, got them signed.

I agree with AB: Ask your friend for pics of the items he got from Inferis that supposedly passed PSA/DNA, and the COAs. I'd love to see them.
Chris, can you provide the pics of your friends items that PSA authenticated?
from where I am sitting, Mr. Fre's response is another example of how the sellers of what is opined as bad material use less than credible Internet blog site ( the forgers protectors) propaganda to to try to discredit reputable third party authenticators (who cumulatively have prevented more forgeries from entering the market by a factor of about a million, than any other entity of any kind). Law enforcement has an act to deal with type of conspiracy....it is called RICO!
Hard to prove yes, likely also yes. In my opinion of course. Id rather have an Egyptian wall carving like in your sale ( I got outbid)

I have purchased numerous posters from Inferis. Let's face it...you get what you pay for. I know full well that these posters have not been sent all over to be signed by stars at different locations. The posters are "mint". They have not been handled much at all. I have many posters that I have had signed in person, and they always get wrinkled or dinged etc. In my opinion, the signatures are copies of authentic autographs that have been applied to the poster. The signatures are the stars autograph, but it is a process that applies a copy of the autograph. For $100 what do you expect??? I think these are novelty items only. I asked Inferis if they had photos of the celebrities signing the posters. They did not. I have a "Pride and Prejudice" (2004) and compared them to autographs I obtained in person. They are correct, but they obviously have been applied to the poster in a production method. With that being said, I actually think they are OK for display purposes, but I would not say the posters have been signed in person.

Just wanted to write a review about inferis online and express how i feel about them. back in 2008 i had purchased from inferis an autographed 8x10 of heath ledger with a lifetime coa from Mr. Jonathan Fre. after receiving my item i sometime later sent it to Psa/dna and they sent it back with a list of why it could not be deemed authentic. angry obviously i really did nothing about it for the next 3 years. it just sat in my closet gathering dust. then after doing some cleaning and coming across it again i decided what the hell i went online and to my surprise inferis and its autograph website still exists. so i threw them a very straight to the point e-mail of my situation and stressed how after this that pretty much everything else i looked at looked like garbage. compared to the real things certified i'd seen by psa/dna or JSA. in return i received pretty much the same letter as chris say there was no way that this could be fake and provided the event it was signed at, which could have been googled just as i found it,saying that heath was there on such and such day. which he was but still no proof of anything solid, then saying that PSA/DNA got it completely wrong and how these authenticators are not reliable by any means. I get it we are human and humans can get things wrong but from what i've researched these company's psa and jsa and sum others are widely regarded by many people as the top of the food chain in authenticating. for john fre to dis psa and say that his word and experience with no proof of real credible certification of anything that exists in the autograph world is just silly and almost laughable. After being informed that i could make good on my lifetime COA that bears Mr. fre signature and then given a list of things that i would need to provided in order to start the return process. i made scans of all the documentation that was asked for including my original receipt,COA,the PSA/DNA letter saying it did not pass. In one last return e-mail from Mr. fre once again expressing how PSA/DNA is not credible and pointing out things on the autograph that were over looked by them and how basically he still thinks its authentic. going on then to say that inferis as a company is personally interested in obtaining the signed photo back for a full refund of the purchase price to my paypal account. so after sending an envelope with the photo and the COA back i had a deposit of $80.00 into my paypal account which i never dreamed would ever happen after getting it back from PSA the first time. so really the only good  thing of this was that i actually got a refund. still i can imagine the only reason that it happened was i had a rarer autograph that could possibly be re-sold to some one not up on there s*** and get burned far greater than i almost did,or maybe Mr. fre truely believes its real and will cherish it himself because of the unassuming war that is out there between authenticator's on who's right in the end. all i can say is i'll never buy from inferis ever again and best of luck to the people that do. i think everything they sell is garbage to the real collector of genuine memorabilia and can only stress to STAY CLEAR!
