I agree and it would be weird just to have one store carry a signed edition.  I predict this will end up being as available as the Obama/Springsteen and Joni Mitchell books and will start popping up on B&N, Books A Million and Amazon soon.  After all,  this is all about promoting and selling the book

I predict that the speculation will run rampant with the passage of time up until the release of the book and/or the cancellation of many indigo orders.

:)

Hahaha the best prediction.

With these costing as much as they do, it’s possible he signs many more than that. Each of those Mondo Scripto prints is an edition of 500. If this were just a promo that cost the same is the unsigned book, then 250 would be the upper limit of what I think he’d sign. Who knows though.

I just read in a fan group someone called the publisher, no idea if this is accurate or not, I am highly suspicious. Statement read-  “I know someone working for the publishing company, I spoke on the phone with them today and they informed me, Indigo received an exclusive contract for the signed editions. Indigo did not specify the amount to be signed as they had no formal agreement on the amount, so they sold them for 24 hours and will cancel whatever doesn’t get fulfilled, my contact seemed to believe it was in the ballpark of a couple hundred copies” - comment was deleted after I just went back to check….. let the rumour mill of speculation begin on this one…. If this is true, the first 200 to place orders are sitting on most likely the best pre order in the last 10+ years considering rarity and value lol

I heard Bob will sign more once he gets more experience points on Pokémon Go. Apparently his Pikachu is a very low level. Next up are B&N and BAM if he gets there by the end of the week. Take it with a grain of salt though.

I have a promotional sweater with embroidered "Bob Dylan -- TIme Out of Mind" that's Large, I never wore. If anyone is interested, I'd sell it cheap. PM me

I’m interested in that!

If anyone ends up with an extra, or their significant other is threatening divorce, I'm still looking for a copy.  Seems I was about an hour too late finding out about this one, so hoping to figure out a way to pick one up without looking at the lunatics asking $6500+ on eBay.  What a shame folks do this.  Absolutely a reason Dylan doesn't sign much.  My sister met him in 2002 and he signed a CD cover for her, and he honestly asked her, "you aren't going to sell this, are you?" Before he would sign it for her.

Completely off topic… I would’ve never thought Bob Dylan, Elton, Springsteen and Bono would sell autographs… Does anyone know if Bob Seger has every sold anything in the past? Almost nothing on eBay for the last several years I’ve been looking…. (He’s a bucket list for me and his stuff seems extremely rare)

Why wouldn’t they sell autographs when it boosts sales?

This is doing the rounds amongst the online Dylan community.  I am just passing along the image with the caveat that the source is unknown, so make of it what you will.  If it’s a fake/composite image, then it’s a well done one.  The signature is not dissimilar to the one on my art print from 2019.
