Trip-hop icon Tricky has a Super Deluxe 3LP of his classic Maxinquaye debut album out on 13th October with a handwritten lyric sheet (limited to 300) - it's a great album imo and regularly features in Best Album of All Time lists:

This has been up for a few weeks and was posted on a different thread so I'm surprised it is still available. Sadly it is UK only. I love Tricky and will probably grab one on eBay or Discogs if it's actually some lyrics written by him and not just a photocopy of his handwritten lyrics.

it was sold out few hours after being originally announced - could be a few cancelled orders.

It came back in stock a day or two after it sold out and has actually been available the couple times I checked since. Had to talk myself out of a mail forwarder as a 3LP won't be cheap to the states. Especially since I don't know exactly what the lyric sheet actually is.

Not sure its that limited its also available at Sound of vinyl says ltd to 100 so thats another hundred to the tally

36 left on the sound of vinyl site. Haven't noticed this one before. Anyway - I am waiting to receive mine,  It's one of those I can't wait to put my hands on and meet him in person at Rough Trade.

Yeah that would be nice to get signed in person, bit far for me for Tricky ,no Nottingham date as yet id do that one ,but a good one for sure

Damn, Soundofvinyl is also UK only for this. Wonder why as it isn't like he's trying to chart or anything.

Tricky is not that kind of artist that would care about charts

I'm jealous you get to go to RT signing! Been a huge fan since this record came out and 100% agree. Which is why I am confused that it is UK only from multiple sources now since typically labels just do crap like this for the charts. His US shop still doesn't even have this up for preorder yet at all.

Actually I didn't realize this release was part of UK's "National Album Day". Tricky was one of their ambassadors this year. This may explain why it is UK only and why I don't see any US distribution anywhere.
