I put a PSA graded Ty Cobb picture similar pose. Possibly older than my picture which I think it dates back to 1905. His first year in the major leagues.

I love the pictures!  Especially when I was on the field at Tiger Stadium and knowing that I was standing where Ty Cobb had stood.  These older pictures are great because when Cobb started playing, home plate was where the right field corner was.  It gives a whole different perspective of what the field/stadium looked like back then.

When I was in the little league I went to the stadium with a friend and his dad. It was the greatest moment of my life. I was a Tiger fan then and still root for them unless they are playing Cleveland. Since you are a baseball fan. What do you think about my Ty Cobb picture? Thank you for your story. Bill

I wish I more more info to share, I’ll leave that to the smarter folks here.

Here is what I could find I'f of any value. I have been collecting photographic print from Lumiere/Dufay Autochromes to chrome prints to gelatin silver. collecting prints from 1904-1930 for decades If I could see it..

The picture of Ty Cobb I sent did not show up. The one you mentioned was a comparison.

Well, from what I know these period images it should be either under .2mm in thickness or over .25mm. I would be looking for the latter which is what you may have.

If I am "preaching to the choir" I apologize. Just trying to help. I'm very tired. My neighbors house full of children exploded in the morning and I was there instantly with a shovel so I am wiped out mentally and physically. No one was harmed.

As it says, please do not upload photos as attachments. Use the photo button in the edit bar.

I can see nothing, sorry. You are posting heic files. Try simple jpegs? Whatever it is, make it visible here, not something that needs downloading as this still does and I can't see it anyway. Not keep on downloading anything.

PM sent.

If it is truly what you say, you  might be able to license it repeatedly  to authors as I have done many times in several countries - "sell" it while owning it. Careful with your contracts and usage. So I'd not show a very large or unmarked cropped image so fast.
