So this is a example of a very bad David bowie forgery. Stay away from stuff like this!

+1! That is one heck of a "signature". I have a measure of faith in this great community Steve has made and we all contribute to and can access with regard to something like this. I certainly hope that, armed with this, other sites and Google, that no member or not quite new collector would even think that was an attempt at a Bowie because there is not a single feature that remotely resembles a Bowie. It is so very far off one could think it is a listing error. I thought it was some error or something. It would never occur to me this was any sort of Bowie, poor, crazy or otherwise. The only thing that suggests it is a Bowie is the auction text. The price is of course insane as well. Sites such as davidbowieautograph.com and various threads and folks here hope to reduce Bowie forgeries - I also hope collectors would seek such resources more and utilize Google etc before even considering a Bowie or anything else as forgery is indeed rampant - without regard for papers, certs, LOA's, stories or stickers.

Thank you and bowieautograph.com for all your help! you guys are awesome!

You are most welcome. Mark, Andy and I are very interested in seeing collectors acquire ONLY genuine Bowie autographs.

I think its lovely .im sure who ever signed it did his best attempt at it after 2 6 packs

good lord
