Authenticity is Everything
Vintage baseball autographs, authenticity?
I am posting a few threads here because I value your guys knowledge and expertise. I've been collecting autographs for about 20 years and am pretty knowledgeable but there are a few genres I just don't know. This is one of them.
It is a vintage baseball signed magazine page. A few of the autos seem to match the guys autographs but they also appear like they may have been signed by the same person. BUT I really don't know since older guys had such nicer penmanship sometimes signatures may look very similar. The Pepper Martin definitely looks like a stamp which makes me think the other guys signed themselves (or clubhouse) and someone stamped Pepper's autograph.
