its in the form of what it should look like if it was neater its the eric then the clapton
my guess he just scribbled it ,its not something i would want to own.

eric signed a few 100 itiems for me , as i said its his basic form of a signiture ,i didnt see any stop and starts like somebody was trying to forge it.
too me it looks like a real bad eric sig that he just scribbled or notsure if he was clean yet maybe trashed

Agree with John - the poor "Eric" flips the switch. A loose cut, no context, a stain(?) unattractive signature. Not even great placement.

Yes, I think this stands a good chance. Signed on the move after a few jars maybe, but, as John said, it shows good form. Here's one of mine from 1978/79.
