I will be the first to admit that Star Wars is about as "modern" as I get with entertainment. But, I have been hit by the bug to collect autographs related to one of my favorite shows and comic books, The Walking Dead.

Show us what you got. Please be sure to label photos clearly to avoid confusion, i.e., if it's verified authentic, unknown, suspect or a known fake, please be sure to clearly state it.

Ah, an area in which I can add some of my expertise.  I study American television signatures, but most of what I have been studying lately is Walking Dead autographs.   There are literally thousands of cast signed items out there mostly due to the fact that the actors have been at numerous cons and always end up signing for a few hours at each one.   The toughest signer of the bunch is Sarah Wayne Callies, no doubt.  Jon Bernthal probably being the easiest signature to get.  I have collected over 30 signed WD items since 2010 (I will upload some of my items in the next coming days)

2nd season stuff is the toughest items to find because they filmed on a private location directly on studio land. Hershels farm in the series was actually a house not far from the studio which was used at the prison set in filming season 3 which makes some of the season 3 items tough as well but not nearly as tough as season 2 items.

When they filmed the woodbury scenes, it was in Senoia, Georgia (Main Street).  Many locals volunteered rooms in their homes for cast and crew members and many autographs were signed while in Senoia. I actually know two people who spent time on an almost daily basis with many of the actors.   Most of the autographed season 3 material you see on the market place was probably signed right on the streets of Senoia, GA.

The signatures of the crew really haven't changed much or offer many variances.  You can easily deduce the rushed examples from the comic con examples but for the most part, the cast seems to be pretty typical with autograph styles.  I am looking forward to seeing more items in the thread and will post mine shortly.  Nice to see fellow WD fans here on AM.

Here we go: Walking Dead Convention Appearances. Looks up-to-date.

how are they? someone has a full platinum vip pass for $450 less than what he paid..and im only 2 hours from chicago. however i have nothing to get signed but im sure they have stuff there but id want something unique not the same picture everyone has.

They are really well run… BUT and I do mean BUT - you have to be at least a VIP to get more than couple of things signed.  Very very crowed!  There are a lot of goodies there to pick from to get signed.  I had Andrew Lincoln sign a Stetson hat that I got. :)  You should go.. you will have a great time.. just be patient, because there are long lines.

oh i figured it was a big mess of people.  their were only a handful of platinum vip passes hence why i couldnt believe that guy was selling his but he couldnt go so im still debating. to bad i dont have facebook to contact him.

and im used to having to wait. going for sports autos every where led to many hours in the cold, snow, heat, rain, etc....at least this would be inside.

see that hat is a great idea. its almost something id consider having everyone sign.  cause how many people would have that? have you thought about getting more on it or just wanting to keep it the way you have it?

how many people would you say were there at the one in ATL?

Here is a picture of my finance' and myself with Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reddus at Walker Stalker last October -

Great photo, Mark. Thanks for sharing!

That is cool as hell Mark!

Here are some of the ones I have gotten in the past.. enjoy.  :)

Mark

That hat turned out really amazing!!

thanks Sports - it took a while to find the right hat and then a nice badge... but it was worth it.  :)
